Cube-machine routine
Cube ice for the day: compare the basket and refill routine
For a cube machine used throughout the day, the important question is often how much ice is collected between visits. A 45lb daily claim describes repeated production. A 2.6lb basket describes what can accumulate before the machine needs attention. Start with the serving routine, then compare the water arrangement and cleaning work.
I want a supplied extra water tank and small collections
The Euhomy Tile SE IM-FM is the relevant Tile configuration. Its 1.5L auxiliary tank sits on top, and the maker's feature image identifies a further 0.5L built-in reservoir. That accounts for the advertised 2L total; it does not establish 3.5L of water capacity.
The current listing specifies 16 cube-style pieces per cycle and a 1.8lb basket. That can fit a routine in which someone collects ice frequently for a few drinks. It gives less collected ice between visits than Tile Plus. The supplied upper tank can reduce one refill task, but it needs overhead access and its own cleaning.
Check physical fit carefully. Tile SE's product description and feature image give different dimensions. Do not choose the smaller set simply because it fits a cabinet gap. Confirm the exact body, then add ventilation clearance and space to open and fill the top tank.
I want more ice in the basket between visits
The Euhomy Tile Plus IM-FP has a stated 2.6lb basket, compared with Tile SE's 1.8lb. Its current listing also gives a 24-piece batch and a qualified 45lb/day claim, against Tile SE's 16-piece batch and 34lb/day. These are three different quantities. None should substitute for the others.
Tile Plus's current description and dimension image agree on a 9.9-inch width and 14.6-inch closed height. Its 14.2-inch body depth still needs room for use and drain access. Both exact manuals call for six inches behind and at the sides, so the working area is substantially larger than the body rectangle.
Its bottle arrangement needs a separate check. The current feature image shows an inverted bottle and gives a three-gallon maximum, while the manual says the support seat is on certain units only. Confirm the mount and compatible capped bottle for the package being purchased. A picture of a bottle-fed setup is not evidence that the bottle itself comes in the box.
I want another cube machine with a timer and cleaning cycle
The Newair NIM045SS00 is another relevant comparison. It has documented cube-thickness adjustment, a timer and a cleaning program, with a maker-stated 45lb/day output. Its assessed source set does not establish the basket weight, so a requirement for at least 2.5lb collected at once cannot be satisfied by borrowing the daily number.
Someone seeking simpler operation can compare the Newair ClearIce40. It makes clear cubes with manual filling and thickness-related operating choices, but its exact configuration has no timer or self-cleaning cycle. Choose it only if starting and cleaning the machine manually fits the routine.
Use the timer for what it actually does
On both Tile models, the delayed action depends on the state of the machine. A timer set while operating schedules a stop; a timer set from standby or off schedules a start. A delayed start is not a promise that a full basket will exist at that moment. Leave time for the first batch and for repeated production.
Increasing freezing time makes thicker ice and changes the cycle. The short batch headline therefore should not be combined with the thickest setting as a guaranteed result. The manuals also explain that water and room temperatures affect output. Neither Tile daily claim has a specific temperature test pair attached in the assessed sources, so it cannot establish an exact warm-kitchen supply.
Plan the cleaning access before placing the machine
The Tile manuals call for fresh water every 24 hours and cleaning about every three days. The water-distribution pipe and its holes need attention, not just the visible basket. The upper reservoir's valve-controlled drainage also makes drain access part of the counter plan.
A circulating clean program assists this routine; it does not wash every accessible surface by itself. Tile Plus has a 20-minute manual description and a 30-minute gallery claim, so use the supplied edition's instructions and actual cycle indicators. For a shortlist, choose the finder's cube shape, basket minimum and water arrangement first. Add a particular delayed action only if it matters, and keep long-term ice storage in the freezer plan.
