Crescent pieces collected regularly, with panel operation and removable refill components.

The main tradeoff

No App or freezing function; current page and exact base manual disagree on dimensions and daily output.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I choose crescent ice with delayed startup and a cleaning program?

Yes. The exact IM022-L manual documents a standby start delay and a clean cycle, while the current family specification identifies crescent ice.

Does LunaArc provide App control?

No. The current official IM022-L configuration is explicitly the version without App control. Choose IM022-L2 Luna Pro for the App-equipped configuration.

Is a closed height of at most16in consistently established?

No. The current page says15.6in, but the linked exact base manual gives420mm, about16.54in. The version discrepancy needs clarification.

The Euhomy LunaArc IM022-L is for someone who wants crescent-shaped ice and prefers to control production at the machine. Its removable water tank and front-access basket make the refill-and-collect routine easy to understand. The important purchase checks are the exact cabinet dimensions and the amount of ice you need waiting at once: neither is answered by the headline daily-production figure.

Crescents rather than pellets or hollow bullets

LunaArc makes curved crescent pieces, with a stated 16 pieces per cycle. This is a different serving choice from a Pearl nugget machine or a Dart bullet machine. Choose it because that physical shape suits your glasses and drinks. Euhomy describes the ice as clear, but water quality and freezing conditions still matter; the description does not promise identical optical clarity from every tap-water supply.

The current page uses several timing descriptions, including 10–15 minutes and 12–15 minutes. The actual IM022-L manual gives a broader normal range of 10–25 minutes and warns that the first cycle takes longer. For a gathering, start production ahead of the first drinks. A 16-piece harvest is a batch count, not 16 ready-to-serve pieces arriving on a fixed twelve-minute schedule.

The basket is the serving limit

The removable basket holds a stated 2.2 pounds, or one kilogram. Euhomy's current product page advertises up to 28 pounds made over a day, which requires repeated harvesting and replenishment. The linked IM022-L manual instead lists 10 kilograms per 24 hours, approximately 22 pounds. The sources do not explain the difference or provide matching room and water temperatures. Treat 28 pounds as the current marketing ceiling, not a dependable daily allowance for a warm kitchen.

The quick guide explicitly says there is no freezing function. Scoop ice as you need it, and move surplus to a freezer for longer storage. A delayed start can shift production toward serving time, but it cannot keep yesterday's basket frozen. If your real requirement is a large reserve ready before guests arrive, freezer space and advance preparation matter more than a higher daily headline.

Refill the removable tank, then seat it properly

The 1.8-liter water tank lifts out for filling. That is useful when carrying a full machine to the sink would be awkward, but it remains a manual-fill appliance. It is not the auxiliary top reservoir supplied with the Tile SE IM-FM, and it does not establish a plumbed water connection. The manual calls for the tank to be pushed fully into position so the water-detection arrangement can work.

Use suitable drinking water rather than juice, milk or alcohol. A visible water compartment helps you notice the remaining supply; it does not replace checking the tank and basket before leaving production running. Ice-full and low-water indications are useful reasons to visit the machine, even when your serving plan is otherwise predictable.

Panel controls are the reason to choose Arc

The official configuration selector identifies IM022-L as LunaArc without App control. Its panel provides a relative one-to-24-hour timer: set a delayed start in standby or a delayed stop while working. This is different from a repeating calendar schedule. Check the machine's state when setting it, since the same timer has a different action during production.

The base-model manual describes thickness adjustment from minus five to plus five in one-minute steps, applying to the next cycle and resetting after power loss. The current page also contains conflicting five-level and eleven-level descriptions. Confirm the delivered control version if a particular number of settings matters. Thickness adjustment changes the freezing routine; it does not turn crescents into nugget ice.

Check cabinet size before committing a tight space

The current page lists 9.4 inches wide, 14 deep and 15.6 high. The IM022-L manual's specification table gives 250 × 382 × 420 millimeters, approximately 9.84 × 15.04 × 16.54 inches. These are materially different for a shelf or narrow counter. Ask for the actual current unit's measurements rather than choosing whichever set fits.

Working space is larger again. The manual requires 25 centimeters at the air outlet and 10 centimeters at both sides. Allow access to remove the tank, collect the basket and drain the water path. Follow the setup guidance about upright settling before first use; the quick guide specifies 24 hours.

A clean cycle still needs clean removable parts

The manual provides a roughly 20-minute circulating cleaning program. It also requires washing water-contact parts, rinsing and draining, with fresh-water cycles after cleaner. Euhomy recommends weekly cleaning. The manual's more involved distribution-pipe procedure accesses screws, tubing and clips; use the exact instructions with power disconnected rather than treating the cleaning button as a substitute for all water-path care.

LunaArc is a sensible choice for crescent ice, a modest collection basket and direct panel operation. Choose Luna Pro if remote production and cleaning controls are useful. Choose Tile Plus IM-FP if cube-style ice and its larger 2.6-pound basket fit the serving plan better. Resolve the dimensional discrepancy before buying Arc for a constrained location.
