A useful fit for

Remote control of crescent production, with regular manual water refills and freezer transfer for surplus.

The main tradeoff

Connectivity does not add frozen storage; an exact Pro-specific manual bridge and consistent current dimensions remain unresolved.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I combine App control, crescent ice and at least2lb in the collection basket?

Yes. The IM022-L2 configuration explicitly includes App control, and the shared current specification gives crescent ice and a2.2lb basket.

Can Luna Pro keep collected ice frozen while it operates?

No. The current family FAQ says it has no preservation function; surplus ice needs freezer storage.

Is at least24lb/day established at90°F room and70°F water?

No. The current28lb ceiling lacks that test pair and differs from the linked base-manual rating. A strict24lb output under those temperatures is unconfirmed.

Luna Pro IM022-L2 adds App control to Euhomy's countertop crescent-ice family. It suits a household that wants to start production or check the machine without walking to its panel. That convenience is useful only alongside a refill, collection and cleaning routine: the 1.8-liter tank still needs water, the 2.2-pound basket still fills, and collected ice is not kept frozen.

Buy the App configuration deliberately

Euhomy lists two distinct configurations on the same page: LunaArc IM022-L without App control and Luna Pro IM022-L2 with it. Check the exact model selected at purchase. A photograph of the shared black cabinet is not enough to establish connectivity, particularly where a listing groups the two names together.

The Pro description includes remote ice production, cleaning, thickness controls, schedules and maintenance alerts. Those are reasons to consider it for a kitchen where you would otherwise keep returning to the panel. They do not mean that it automatically adds water or transfers ice to the freezer. The available source set does not establish a particular Wi-Fi band or a complete offline feature list; confirm the connection requirements before relying on an existing home-network arrangement.

What the App cannot change about supply

The shared current specification is 16 crescent pieces per cycle, up to 28 pounds per day and a 2.2-pound collection basket. Those figures answer three separate questions: the size of a harvest, accumulated production over many hours, and the amount collected at once. A higher daily claim does not create a larger reserve for a sudden round of drinks.

Euhomy's FAQ says the machine has no ice-preservation function. Transfer surplus to a freezer when you want it available later. For a weekend gathering, a useful plan is to produce and freeze an advance supply, then use the machine for replenishment. Remote starting helps with timing, but an App command cannot make a full basket hold the next harvest or turn the appliance into a freezer.

The maker describes the ice as clear crescent ice. That shape differs from soft nuggets and hollow bullets. Select it for the serving form you want; do not count on the same clarity or melting behavior with every water supply, drink and room temperature. The published comparison claims do not establish a universal extra number of minutes before your drink dilutes.

Output and dimensions need a version check

The current page gives cycle descriptions around 10–15 or 12–15 minutes without a matching room-and-water test pair. The support center associates the family with an IM022-L base-model manual, not a separately identified IM022-L2 manual. That document gives a 10–25-minute normal cycle, longer first production and a 10-kilogram daily specification. It does not explain how its approximately 22-pound figure relates to the current 28-pound headline.

The same version issue affects fit. Current page dimensions are 9.4 inches wide, 14 deep and 15.6 high; the linked base manual gives 250 × 382 × 420 millimeters, roughly 9.84 × 15.04 × 16.54 inches. The exact Pro revision is not bridged to that older or different specification. Get current IM022-L2 measurements and installation instructions if an inch of clearance will decide the purchase. The shared page's smaller numbers should not be treated as a guaranteed fit.

The removable tank is practical, but finite

The 1.8-liter water tank and ice basket are removable. Fill the tank with appropriate drinking water and put it back securely; the arrangement lets you carry water instead of moving the entire cabinet. It does not document an automatic water line, auxiliary side tank or bottled-water mount. Leave enough access to remove the components, wipe them and drain water during care.

The current page calls for weekly cleaning and describes a one-touch clean function. Removable parts still need washing with warm soapy water, and the water path needs thorough fresh-water rinsing afterward. A maintenance alert is a prompt to perform that work. Check more frequently when water conditions or visible residue call for it; the alert does not inspect every surface on your behalf.

Do not confuse remote adjustments with a different ice system

Pro's thickness adjustment changes the crescent-making process, not the physical category of ice. The shared page contains both five-level and eleven-level descriptions. The linked base manual explains eleven positions, but that alone does not prove the precise Pro App range. If your buying decision depends on a particular setting or recurring schedule behavior, confirm it against the delivered Pro instructions rather than borrowing the Arc panel sequence.

Luna Pro fits a household that values remote control and can regularly collect a modest basket of crescent ice. LunaArc offers the same stated serving capacity with direct panel operation. For an earlier-model reference for remotely scheduled nugget production, compare the different texture and collection arrangement of GE Opal Ultra XPIO23SWSS. For a larger cube-style basket, Tile Plus IM-FP is the more relevant comparison. Choose Pro for its control workflow after checking its current dimensions, rather than expecting its connectivity to solve storage or water maintenance.
